What is an initial-and-name sign?
An initial-and-name sign is a 3D printed plaque where a large initial in one font carries the full name in another – the classic shape for a nursery, a door, a shelf or a newborn gift. The generator gives you independent fonts for the initial and the name, name height, X/Y offset, an optional band under the name, inlay depth and per-side clearance for an exact fit. The sign prints in two colours in one piece, or as separate parts you assemble and glue. Connectivity is verified so no letter is left floating.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nursery name sign cost?
Designing and downloading the model is free and needs no account. When you click "Get a print quote", your 3MF goes through the same BambuStudio slicer as any uploaded file: the price comes from real material use and print time, the minimum is €4 per model, and no VAT is added. Printing takes 1–3 working days; shipping inside the EU starts at €13.90 and pickup in Slovenia is free. A 150–200 mm wide two-colour PLA sign usually lands around €6–12; the slicer quote shows the exact price.
How is the sign mounted?
Usually with double-sided tape or mounting pads; for a door or shelf, add holes in the name plate generator instead.
Can I mix two fonts?
Yes, the initial and the name each have their own font – a script initial with a clean sans-serif name, for example.
