Which material is best for outdoor use?+
For outdoor use we recommend ASA Black, which is resistant to UV rays, rain and temperature changes (-40 to +90°C). PETG HF is the second choice — resistant to moisture and chemicals, suitable for balcony parts and functional items. PLA is NOT suitable for outdoors — it begins to soften at 60°C.
Which material is strongest and most stress-resistant?+
PETG HF is the strongest — it combines flexibility with high strength. Ideal for mechanical parts, holders and functional items. ASA is the second choice for stress loads. PLA is brittle — suitable for decorative items and models, not for functional parts under stress.
Do you offer TPU (flexible filament)?+
Yes — TPU 95A HF Black is part of our standard offering. It is a flexible, rubber-like filament (Shore 95A hardness) suited to gaskets, protective cases, vibration dampers and other bendable parts. You can select it directly in the instant quote.
Are your PLA materials food-safe?+
Our PLA filaments are made from pure PLA resin, but the FDM 3D printing PROCESS itself is not certified for food contact (micropores between layers can harbour bacteria). For food use we recommend coating the printed part with food-grade epoxy or printing a vessel that does not directly touch food.
What is the difference between PLA, PLA Silk+, and PLA Matte?+
PLA Standard has a glossy surface and is the most affordable. PLA Silk+ has a metallic shine (gold, silver, rose gold) — a premium look for gifts. PLA Matte has a matte surface that hides layer lines — ideal for architectural models and professional prototypes. All have the same strength and temperature resistance.
How long do your printed items last?+
A properly printed PLA Standard part lasts 5-10 years in indoor use. PETG HF and ASA last 10+ years and are UV resistant. The main wear factors are UV light (PLA becomes brittle after 1-2 years in the sun) and temperature (PLA softens at 60°C, PETG at 75°C, ASA at 95°C).
