Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, and protect your personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the personal data necessary to fulfill orders and provide our services: full name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if provided), and order details (selected products, materials, quality presets). When obtaining a quote for your own model, we also collect uploaded 3D files (STL or 3MF). We do not collect or store payment data (card numbers, bank accounts) — this is processed exclusively by the payment provider Stripe.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data based on Article 6(1) GDPR: (b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for taking pre-contractual steps (order processing, quote generation); (c) processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax legislation); (f) processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller (service improvement, fraud prevention). We do not process data based on consent unless we explicitly request it.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data exclusively for: processing and fulfilling orders, communication regarding orders (confirmations, status updates, complaints), preparing price quotes based on uploaded 3D models, fulfilling legal obligations (accounting, tax reporting), and improving the operation of the online store. We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Payment Processor (Stripe)
We use Stripe, Inc. for payment processing. When you make a payment, your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe through their secure interface and are never stored on our servers. Stripe processes data in accordance with PCI DSS standards and its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). Stripe may process data outside the EU/EEA, while providing appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR.
6. Cookies

Our website always uses strictly necessary cookies needed for the store to work: a cart-state cookie (stores your selected products during the visit; legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and an administrator session cookie for store management (legal basis is our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These necessary cookies require no consent. Only after your prior, explicit consent given through the cookie banner do the optional trackers load — until then their scripts are not injected into the page at all. Consent is voluntary and can be given for all categories or per category (analytics, marketing, session recording), all of which are off by default. The optional trackers are: Google Analytics 4 (provider Google; web analytics); the Meta/Facebook Pixel (provider Meta Platforms Ireland; marketing and remarketing — for the collection and transmission of data via the pixel we and Meta act as joint controllers under a joint-controller arrangement, and Meta also processes the data for its own purposes); and Microsoft Clarity (provider Microsoft; analytics and session recording — it records mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, with input fields masked by default so the content you type is not captured). The legal basis for all optional trackers is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) under the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and Slovenia's Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2). These providers may transfer data to the USA; such transfers are safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. We store your choice in your browser (localStorage) for up to 6 months and then ask again; if this policy changes we ask for consent anew. You can withdraw consent anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer — withdrawal stops further loading of the trackers and removes their cookies, but does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous, cookieless performance metrics and therefore requires no consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana; gp.ip@ip-rs.si).
7. Data Retention Period
Order data (name, address, email, purchase details) is retained in accordance with legal requirements for accounting and tax documentation (10 years under the Slovenian Tax Procedure Act). Uploaded 3D files (STL, 3MF) are automatically deleted within 30 days after order fulfillment. Shopping cart data is retained only during your visit to the website (session cookie).
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16), erasure of data when there is no longer a legal basis for processing (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability in a structured format (Article 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21).
