Rapid prototyping — iterate in days, not weeks
Upload your STL or 3MF, see the exact price in 30 seconds — and with the express same-day dispatch option (order by 16:00) you can hold the printed prototype as soon as the next working day. Then revise and repeat. Pay per part, no minimum quantity, no setup fees. From €4 per part.

The value of a prototype is not the plastic — it is the speed at which it answers a question. Does the housing close? Does the snap-fit survive assembly? Does the bracket clear the cable? Every day between CAD revision and a physical part is a day your development stands still. Our whole quoting flow is built around shortening that gap: no email back-and-forth, no waiting for a salesperson to price your file — the BambuStudio-based price appears in about 30 seconds and printing starts as soon as you confirm.
This page covers the prototyping workflow specifically. If you are looking at 3D printing for a company more broadly — replacement parts, jigs and fixtures, pilot batches, invoicing details — that lives on our 3D printing for business page.
Every iteration starts with an instant 3D printing quote — upload the current version of the model and the price appears in about 30 seconds.
The iteration loop
1 · Upload the CAD export
Export STL or 3MF from Fusion 360, SolidWorks, FreeCAD or Onshape and drop it into the quote page. The file is sliced with real BambuStudio data — the price you see is exact, not an estimate someone emails you two days later.
2 · Quote in 30 seconds
Material, machine time, electricity and a small base fee — the same formula as on our pricing page, minimum €4 per part. Switch materials or quality presets and the price recalculates instantly, so you can decide Draft vs Standard per iteration.
3 · Printed, typically in 1 working day
A single prototype normally leaves the printer within 1 working day. Free pickup in Gorica pri Slivnici or GLS delivery across Slovenia in 1–2 working days.
4 · Measure, revise, re-upload
Check the fit, adjust the CAD, upload version 2. There is no project fee and no minimum quantity, so a five-iteration development loop costs exactly five parts — nothing more.
Tip for early iterations: the Draft preset (0.28 mm layers) prints fastest and costs 15% less than Standard — ideal while the geometry is still moving.
Prototype in the material that answers the question
| Material | Prototyping stage |
|---|---|
| PLA | Form & visual prototypes, fastest and cheapest first look |
| PETG HF | Functional fit checks, snap-fits, brackets that get handled |
| ASA | Outdoor / UV-exposed prototypes, automotive trim checks |
| TPU 95A HF | Flexible prototypes: gaskets, grips, overmold stand-ins |
| PA6-GF | Strong, stiff, heat- and chemical-resistant functional parts |
| PAHT-CF | Stiff and light, heat resistant to 194°C — near-end-use validation |
Full datasheets and all colours on the materials page. High-performance carbon and glass-fibre options are covered in depth on carbon-fibre 3D printing.

Prototyping questions
How fast is one prototyping iteration?+
Upload to exact price: about 30 seconds. A single prototype is normally printed within 1 working day, then free pickup in Gorica pri Slivnici or GLS delivery in 1–2 working days anywhere in Slovenia. In practice most teams run a full iteration — print, measure, revise the CAD — in two to three days.
Is there a minimum order quantity or setup fee?+
No. You pay per part, with a €4 minimum per item and a small base fee charged once per order — no preparation fees, no design fees, no hidden costs. That makes single-piece iterations economical: a typical 50 g functional prototype in PETG HF comes out around €10.
Which material should I prototype in?+
Match the material to the question the prototype answers. Checking shape and proportions: PLA. Checking fit, snap-fits and everyday handling: PETG HF. Sun or outdoor exposure: ASA. Flexible or sealing parts: TPU 95A. When the prototype must behave like the end-use part under load or heat, step up to PA6-GF or PAHT-CF — the full comparison is on our materials page.
What happens to my design files? Can you sign an NDA?+
Uploads are safe and confidential — we use your files only to calculate your price and print your order, and they are kept on the server only as long as needed to print and ship. If your project requires an NDA, email info@3dnaklik.si with your template before uploading; we sign and return it within 1 working day.
How large can a prototype be, and what accuracy can I expect?+
The Bambu Lab P2S build volume is 256 × 256 × 250 mm in one piece; larger prototypes can be split and joined. FDM accuracy on rigid materials is typically within a few tenths of a millimetre depending on geometry, and parts are weaker along layer boundaries — if a dimension or load direction is critical, note it in the order and we will orient the print accordingly.
