Animate your 3D models.
Make them move.
3DnaKlik Motion Studio is a free online STL and 3MF animation tool. Turn one model or a complete set into a GIF, video or PNG still, directly in your browser. No account needed.
Your model files stay in your browser
GIF for email. Video for sharing. A finished model in the first frame.
↳ Preview and export happen on your device. No account or model upload is needed.
How to turn an STL or 3MF into an animation
Add your models
Choose up to six STL or 3MF files from your device, or start with the demo. All models appear together in one preview.
Choose a reveal
Pick one of eight effects, then adjust colors, quantities, orientation and duration. Choose square, portrait or widescreen framing.
Download and share
Export a GIF for email, an MP4 or WebM video for sharing, or a PNG still. Preview and export both happen on your device.

Eight ways to reveal your model
Each effect uses your actual 3D geometry. Choose a simple rotation, a growing surface or a more dramatic reveal.
Organic growth
A living surface grows into your part.
Particle assemble
Thousands of sparks. One real object.
Grand arrival
A cinematic reveal from the stars.
Basic spin
Every angle. All the detail.
Layer by layer
A line of light builds from the base.
Hologram
A scan of light becomes a solid object.
Blueprint to real
From a technical drawing to the real thing.
Ripple reveal
A wave of light unfolds from the center.
3D model animation: common questions
Is the 3D model animation tool free?
Yes. Previewing models and downloading GIFs, videos and PNG images are free. No account, subscription or printing order is required.
Can I animate several parts together?
Yes. Add up to six STL or 3MF files, choose a color and quantity for each, and export one animation showing the whole set. Each file is fitted individually, so the models are not shown at the same physical scale. A 3MF can itself contain multiple mesh parts.
Where do my files go?
Model files and exported media are processed in your browser. The animation tool does not upload or store them on our servers.
Which downloads are available?
Download an animated GIF, a PNG still, or a video. Video is MP4 when your browser supports H.264 encoding, with WebM as an alternative. If video encoding is unavailable, GIF and PNG still work.
Can I use the animation in an email?
You can download a GIF for an email that supports animated images. The first frame shows the finished models for clients that only display a still. Shorter clips and fewer models produce smaller files; the tool warns when a GIF exceeds its 2 MB target.
Which browser do I need?
Use a recent browser with JavaScript and WebGL2 enabled. Video export also needs a supported browser encoder. Large files require more device memory; if a model will not load, try a smaller file or a desktop browser.
Is this an animation of the real printing process?
The effects reveal your actual mesh artistically. They do not use sliced G-code and do not represent print time, supports, infill or the printer’s movements.
Need a model or a physical print?
Create a printable model with our other tools, or request a separate quote for 3D printing. Animation downloads are free; physical printing is a paid service.
